In this film Zaky travels to Africa to try and help his friends there that have no water or food, due to greedy hippos building a waterpark and using all the water for themselves. A fun adventure with Zaky & his friends that highlights the problems of hunger, greed and obesity.

 

 

Zaky's Adventures is a series of entertaining films for children.  Each film will focus on world issues such as hunger, obesity, bullying, racism, greed etc....  We produced the first Zaky's Adventures film in 2008 titled, 'The Earth Has a Fever', in which we focused on the problem of Global Warming and pollution -  this was the hot topic in the world at the time of production.  We also wanted to produce the film for both the Muslim and non-Muslim audience.

 

 

Script is written, characters have been developed and storyboards are all done.  The funding we are seeking will help us begin animation inshallah.

 

Media plays a very important role in society & it is the most powerful dawah tool today.  One 4 Kids are working hard to keep up with this industry so that our children are exposed to the right forms of media from a young age. Research has shown that children spend approximately six to eight hours a day exposed to media such as TV, internet and devices. At a young age our children are being molded and shaped into the adults they will one day grow up to be. It is very important to expose them to the right things from a young age.

 

Alhumdulilah after seven hard years of work, our cartoon character Zaky is now very popular with children in many countries around the world.  The demand for more children’s films and products is ever increasing which is why we are now seeking new ways to raise funds to  produce more films rather than rely on DVD sales only... inshallah

 

Animation films can cost anywhere from $25,000 to millions of dollars, however most of the cost is absorbed by our director, Subhi Alshaik. He writes the script, directs, films, edits both the film & sound, writes the songs, authors the DVD & even designs all the artwork. So pretty much most of what you will be funding is the animation which is outsourced to various animators that work for One4kids, both here in Australia and overseas.

 

We are funded only through sales of our DVDs & products but unfortunately many Muslims are illegally copying and selling our DVDs and make lots of money.  We can easily quit, however there is a huge need for media for our children as they are bombarded by cartoons... many of which are teaching them the wrong messages.  Our films mainly focus on teaching good manners. We also teach children about the Quran, Life of Prophet Muhammad (saws), Arabic and pretty much anything to do with Islam.
